What it practises
- Maths calculation: Arithmetic, fractions, ratios, powers and number bases at a steady pace.
Games are good for calculation speed and accuracy. Mathematical concepts still need teaching and explanation.
Quick lesson: Percent means "out of 100"
25% means 25 out of every 100, or 25/100 = 1/4. A quick route: 10% is the amount divided by 10, and 5% is half of that. To increase by a percent, find that percent and add it on.

Answer: 9. 10% of 60 is 6, 5% is 3, so 15% is 6 + 3 = 9.
