What it practises
- Strategy & teamwork: Managing resources, weighing risk and coordinating computer-controlled teammates — all single-player.
- Deep reflection & analysis: Slowing down: weighing evidence, spotting weak arguments and explaining why something worked.
Street 05 does not run multiplayer. Teamwork is practised with computer-controlled teammates that follow simple, fixed rules (not chatbots) and your own time-rewind clones.
Quick lesson: Sharing a resource
When many people share something that regrows, like fish or grazing land, each person gains by taking more, but if everyone does, it runs out. Groups that agree limits and keep to them can make it last.
Check question
Four people share a lake that regrows a few fish each year. What keeps it going longest?
- Everyone takes as much as they can
- Each takes a fair share, agreed together
- Only the fastest fisher fishes
- Nobody ever fishes again
Answer: Each takes a fair share, agreed together. If the total taken stays below what regrows, the lake lasts and everyone keeps fishing.
